S.R. 0070, Section 10A

Bridge Replacement - Washington County -  This project is a design-build bridge replacement project. The project included the removal of a single span bridge carrying Interstate 70 (I-70) eastbound and westbound over S.R. 2017 (Dunningsville Interchange). SPK prepared the final construction plans, traffic control plans, and structure plans for the contractor. Construction was completed in 2011.

Westmoreland County - This project included the phased total replacement of a deteriorated three span steel girder bridge with inadequate underclearance with a two span continuous P/S spread box beam bridge (168’ total length) with minimal profile grade adjustment. The bridge carries four lanes S.R. 0982 over four lanes S.R. 0030 and includes special barrier (formed words of local icons) and pier architectural treatments. The project also includes 2,400’ of approach roadway reconstruction and interchange ramp repairs.
