The project was funded by PennVEST for the Redevelopment Authority of Fayette County, with PennDOT oversight and coordination from the Ohioplye Borough The scope of this Smart Transportation Initiative project was to provide pedestrians, bicyclists and boaters safeand efficient access to the Park's various amenities. The construction included resurfacing of S.R. 0381 Corridor, conversion of existing 4'-0" shoulders to 5'-0" directional bike lanes adjacent to the northbound and southbound lanes.
