Henry Mancini Bridge - S.R. 3050, Section B01

Project Letting - August 2015

Beaver County -  This project is the preservation of an existing nine-span steel girder bridge carrying a local road (owned by the City of Aliquippa) over S.R. 0051 NB, tracks of CSX Railroad, and various local streets. The preservation activities include bearing replacement, concrete repairs, superstructure retrofits to convert several simple spans to continuous spans, and partial deck hydrodemolition and latex overlay.

McKees Rocks Bridge - This project included the rehabilitation of a 17 span (4,365’ overall) steel truss-arch bridge carrying S.R. 3104 over the Ohio River, CSX Railroad, and several local streets. The rehabilitation included concrete filled steel grid sidewalk replacement, deck joint replacement, zone painting, concrete repairs, and miscellaneous structure repairs.

Ohio River Boulevard - Widening and Resurfacing - This project consisted of widening Ohio River Boulevard from 40’ to 52’ for use of a proposed center lane. The project also included a traffic signal upgrade as well as drainage and signing/pavement marking improvements. Critical design activities were maintaining access to businesses, utility relocation design, and construction schedule relative to utility on-site relocations.
