S.R. 0038, Section 259 is located in Concord Township, Butler County.  The project consists of the replacement of the reinforced concrete arch culvert that carries SR 0038 over a tributary to Connoquenessing Creek with a precast reinforced concrete box culvert.  The horizontal and vertical alignment match the existing roadway. Minimal roadway approach work was included for approximately 200 feet on the western approach and 250 feet on the eastern approach. One lane of traffic was maintained throughout construction of the project via half-width construction, controlled with temporary traffic signals.
